Eight finalists have been selected to have the chance to win the Future Contractors Scholarship. This scholarship was created by California Contractors Insurance Services to encourage students to consider a career in the construction industry and help pave the way for the winner. The eight finalists were chosen based on an essay addressing the scholarship prompt: “What do you think the future of construction will be like and how will your education be applicable to this?”
CCIS chose the eight finalists, but now it is up to the public to decide who the winner of the $750 award will be. Voting opens on August 19, 2019 and will close on September 12, 2019. Whichever finalist has received the most votes will be awarded the scholarship money.
CCIS wants to thank all students who applied for the Future Contractors Scholarship, and encourages more students to apply for the upcoming contest. Another award of $750 will be available, with a closing date of January 31, 2020. Visit the scholarship page to start your application!
